Our annual team event, an opportunity to be the judge! Putting ourselves in the shoes of our visiting judges, our chance to critique each others photos and give them a score. The winning team on the night was “Charlie’s Angels”… An all ladies team apart from our Treasurer David! Well done everyone for taking part!

What to do on a Tuesday night….. Hang around on the Army & Navy roundabout is what! An intrepid group set off to practice light trails on the busiest roundabout in Chelmsford! great fun and an opportunity to share and learn new experiences. Some interesting images too! Finally the weather has turned for the better and we were lucky enough to have a near perfect evening for taking a stroll though Baddow to practice our macro techniques. Some members stayed back at the reading rooms to try out our new LED light panels. Great to see everyone getting stuck in and learning
Last night was the clubs annual Portfolio evening where our members are asked to submit three prints, each of different genres showing a range of photographic skills and techniques. The club paid a visit to the Rawlight Studio, Southend on Tuesday evening for our practical portrait evening. Split between two groups, we are able to practise both high and low key lighting techniques with a combination of four models.
