The aim of this project is for a member to produce an image with some link to the image presented in the previous meeting.

Practical notes:
(1) When you nominate the next person to take a photo, please collect the email address of the nominee and send them your photo as soon as possible so they have time to think about the challenge.
(2) Your photo should be taken during the week of the challenge.
(3) Put your photo on a memory stick and bring along to the next club meeting, and/or email it to liam@baddowcameraclub.co.uk
(4) Please also send a copy of your photo and a few comments describing your tenuous link to secretary@baddowcameraclub.co.uk so this information can be uploaded to the website for reference.

The first photo in this challenge was presented by our Chairman, Liam Stubbings. He nominated Paul Clarke to produce the next photo.

The Tenuous Link (2) was provided by Paul Clarke was boxes of flats to link to Liam's boxes of huts. He nominated Roger Matthews to produce the next photo.

The Tenuous Link (3) was provided by Roger Matthews who said it was about of living in and/or playing in boxes. He nominated Helen Gray to produce the next photo.

The Tenuous Link (4) was provided by Helen Gray who said she took the Everyman cinema in Roger's photo as her link to her husband Lawrence who is a film maker. She nominated Sagara Wickramasinghe to produce the next photo.

The Tenuous Link (5) was provided by Sagara Wickramasinghe, taken while in Sri Lanka watching wildlife in the Wlpattu National Park. He nominated John Stratford to produce the next photo.

The Tenuous Link (6) was provided by John Stratford, using the leopard as the link. His photo is of a Pink Leopard cocktail, and John nominated Sarah Freeman to produce the next photo.

The Tenuous Link (7) was provided by Sarah Freeman, with a very corny tenuous link. She thought about all the ingredients, and all the colours in the cocktail and came up with the notion of 'red'. This idea then transformed into 'read' so she took a photos of books read since Christmas, using lighting to reflect the evening glow when she likes to read with a decent scotch in her hand. Sarah nominated Karen Kilbourne to produce the next photo.

The Tenuous Link (8) was provided by Karen Kilbourne, and she took the book titles 'With you, there is no us' and 'Prophet Song' as her tenuous link. The portrait of a wedding couple was inspired by her recent 33 years wedding anniversary, and it shows the highs and lows in black and white where the cracks are not permanent. The small sign at the bottom reads 'There is no set Faith follow your heart. Since Sam is getting married this year, Karen nominated Samatha Hampshire to take the next photo.

The Tenuous Link (9) was provided by Samatha Hampshire. She took the link of loving black and white, and this is a photo of Loki who is black and white and who she loves! Sam nominated Craig Gotham to take the next photo.

The Tenuous Link (10) was provided by Craig Gotham. He has been reading a lot of American books recently and the bus company is called Greyhound. Sam's dog is a greyhound hence Craig has provided a photo of a bus. Craig nominated Kim Chenery to take the next photo.

The Tenuous Link (11) was provided by Kim Chenery. Kim's link was the ITV show called 'On the buses' shown in 1969-1973. The two main characters in this show were Olive and Blakey (blakey being a metal stud or plate fixed to the sole of a show to prevent excessive wear). Now it is up to Richard Huckett to take the next photo.

The Tenuous Link (12) was provided by Richard Huckett. He took the image of an olive in Kim's photo and prepared an image of olive oil in an Italian style. Richard nominated Andy Webb to take the next photo.

The Tenuous Link (13) was provided by Andy Webb. He has linked to the olive oil in the previous photo by showing us a photograph of Burning Oil, a new form of garden motorsport! Next in line to take a photo is Dave Cleverley.
Stacks Image 201

The Tenuous Link (14) was provided by Dave Cleverley by linking 'Oil Burner' to 'Air Fryer'; probably the most tenuous of links so far! Dave says it was because he didn't know of any Bunny Boilers! Next in line is Steve Boutwell.
Stacks Image 210

The Tenuous Link (15) was provided by Steve Boutwell by linking 'Air Fryer' to 'Chicken Madras'. This link is again very tenuous! I guess air fryers are used to cook chicken and the statue is a memorial to Gandhi. Next in line is Martin Barsley.
Stacks Image 219

The Tenuous Link (16) was provided by Martin Barsley by linking 'Chicken Madras' to 'My Hat on a Beach Hut'. Martin thought about Steve's second photo of the statue of Gandhi on the sea front in Chennai with a beach behind him. So he thought it's The Mahatma by the beach and from this thought came My Hat on a Beach hut! And even better was that he found a beach hut with the name 'Passot on'. What a great Tenuous Link! Next in line is Paul Critolph.
Stacks Image 228

The Tenuous Link (17) was provided by Paul Critolph by linking 'My Hat on a Beach hut' to 'During the War'. Martin's photo had beach huts, a Wave, and a Hat. So Paul's photo has beach huts as a first link, water from the tide as a second link, and the guy is wearing a hat as a third link. Paul thought that the guy looked like Uncle Albert from the tv show 'Only Fools and Horses', hence the title of 'During the War'. Rob Furlong is next to continue the series of Tenuous Links.

The Tenuous Link (18) was provided by Rob Furlong by linking 'Beach Life' to 'During the War'. Look closely and on the balcony of a beach hut you can see a blue beach chair. So Rob has given us a photo which includes a blue beach chair. Jon Paul is next to take up this challenge.

The Tenuous Link (19) was provided by Jon Wade by linking 'Beach Life' to 'Caipirinha!'. This cocktail made from cachaca, sugar and limes, with lots of ice, is very popular on the beaches of Brazil. Patta Binder is next to take up this challenge.
