DATA PROTECTION POLICY

Baddow Camera Club is established with the objects set out in its Constitution, to serve the interests of its members, and as such is a data controller within the UK general data protection regulation (GDPR). All personal data and information collected is held securely and is for the Committee use only for Membership purposes and for the effective management of the lawful and legitimate interests of the Baddow Camera Club. Personal data/information collected will not be issued to any other data controller for use in electronic marketing or any other purpose.

Baddow Camera Club collects and holds personal information about its membership and activities as follows:

1. Membership list including the name, address, phone number and e-mail address.
2. Copies of member's digital images entered for competitions.
3. Records of entries to competitions and other events organised by the Club.
4. Names of the winning entries in both digital and print competitions.
5. Historical records of committee meetings and AGMs.
6. Participation in publicity events.
7. Contact details of Judges and Lecturers.

Any person wishing to verify the information held by the Baddow Camera Club may apply to the Honorary Secretary.
